These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of dallinking.com and the other sites operated under the *.dallinking.com domain (together, "the sites"). By using any of these sites, you agree to these Terms.
The short version
- Be respectful, don't break the law, and don't try to abuse or attack the sites.
- If you upload a game or other content, you keep ownership — you're just granting us permission to host and display it.
- Don't upload anything you don't have the rights to, or that's harmful, illegal, or infringing.
- Purchases (tickets, memberships, etc.) are processed by Stripe, and are final unless the site or organizer says otherwise.
- These sites are provided "as is," with no uptime or accuracy guarantees.
- An account can be suspended or removed for violating these Terms.
1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using any dallinking.com site, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please don't use the sites.
2. The Dallin King ecosystem
Dallin King operates a collection of independent sites under the *.dallinking.com domain — including projects like Country Swing, the Light blog, Games, and Digital Board Games — that may share a single sign-on account. A given site may offer features (uploads, community content, purchases) not available elsewhere in the ecosystem; where that's the case, using that feature means you also agree to any additional terms presented on that site.
3. Accounts & eligibility
- You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
- Information provided when signing up must be accurate, and kept up to date.
- You're responsible for anything that happens under your account, and for keeping your password secure.
- Let us know right away if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the sites to:
- Violate any applicable law or regulation
- Attempt unauthorized access to accounts, data, or systems, or interfere with normal operation of the sites
- Upload malware, or use automated tools to scrape, spam, or overload the sites
- Harass, threaten, or impersonate others
- Upload or share content you don't have the legal right to share
5. Content you upload
Some sites in the ecosystem — like Games and Digital Board Games — let you upload your own content, such as a game build, board game definition, images, or related metadata ("User Content"). You retain ownership of your User Content. By uploading it, you grant Dallin King a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, display, and distribute it as needed to operate and promote the relevant site.
You're responsible for making sure your User Content doesn't infringe on anyone else's rights and doesn't violate the acceptable use rules above. Content that violates these Terms may be removed, and repeat or serious violations may result in account suspension or termination.
6. Purchases & payments
Some sites — like countryswing.dallinking.com — let you buy tickets, memberships, or other paid items. Payments are processed by Stripe; your full card details go directly to Stripe and are never stored on our servers. Prices, fees, and any refund or cancellation terms are set by the specific site or event organizer and shown to you before you pay. All sales are final unless stated otherwise at the time of purchase.
7. Intellectual property
Apart from User Content, all site content — design, code, text, graphics, and branding — is the property of Dallin King unless otherwise noted. You may view and share it for personal, non-commercial purposes. Redistribution or modification without permission is prohibited.
8. Third-party links & services
The sites may link to, or rely on, third-party websites and services (for example, social media profiles or payment processors). These are provided for convenience, and their content, policies, and practices are outside of Dallin King's control and responsibility.
9. Advertising
Some pages display advertising served through Google AdSense. Ads are selected and served by Google, and their content is not endorsed by Dallin King.
10. Disclaimers
The sites are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. There's no guarantee that the sites will be error-free, secure, uninterrupted, or that any uploaded content will be preserved indefinitely.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Dallin King is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of the sites. Use of the sites is at your own risk.
12. Termination
An account or access to a site may be suspended or terminated at any time for violating these Terms, and you may stop using the sites and request deletion of your account at any time (see the Privacy Policy).
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
14. Changes to these terms
These Terms may be updated from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. When a change is material, you will be asked to review and accept the revised Terms the next time you sign in, and access to your account is paused until you do.
